Chamomile Floral Water

Floral water is also called hydrosol and is a byproduct of the process of plant distillation. When distilling plants one obtains the essential oil and, secondly, a hydrosol or floral water. It should not be confused floral waters from the distillation plant and floral infusions that can be achieved by leaving infuse plants in water; these two preparations do not have the same properties. Lightly scented, floral waters are ideal for cleansing, toning, soothe and refresh the skin. You can either spray directly on face and body, either soak a cotton or gauze for local applications. Too cool at any time of the day, nothing like a floral water mist on the face.
